The New Moon of May 30th 2022, occurs at 5 pm IST / 7.30 am EST. This signifies a time of new beginnings, a time to sow the seeds. 

Presently, the focus lies on all forms of communication, including short journeys. It also relates to matters concerning one’s close relations, including one’s siblings.

Mercury Retrograde / Direct –

During the past few weeks, the planet Mercury has been retrograde, (seemingly), preparing to go direct on June 3rd. 

Hence, all forms of communication would appear to have been going back and forth at this time, in a seemingly, never ending cycle. 

Delays, errors, technical and electrical glitches etc, would have been the happenings of the day.

When Mercury goes direct on June 3rd, matters will tend to resolve one way or another. Then things will gradually begin to move forward.

The highest and most effective form of communication is explained in the following words of Sri Ramana Maharishi –

“Language is only a medium for communicating one’s thoughts to another. 

It is called in only after thoughts arise; other thoughts arise after the ‘I-thought’ rises; the ‘I-thought’ is the root of all conversation. 

When one remains without thinking one understands another by means of the universal language of silence.

Silence is ever-speaking; it is a perennial flow of language; it is interrupted by speaking. These words obstruct that mute language. 

There is electricity flowing in a wire. With resistance to its passage, it glows as a lamp or revolves as a fan. In the wire it remains as electric energy. 

Similarly also, silence is the eternal flow of language, obstructed by words. 

What one fails to know by conversation extending to several years can be known in a trice in Silence, or in front of Silence – e.g., Dakshinamurti, (a manifestation of Lord Shiva- the guru who taught through silence) and his four disciples.

That is the highest and most effective language.”
