Coping with Emotions

Allowing the feelings to arise. Speaking it out to a trusted friend who will listen silently without judgement, or writing it all down.

Letting the tears etc., arise naturally if it needs to.

Then viewing it from the larger picture. Seeing it as a happening that was meant to be. God’s will arising in the way the Universal energy desired it to be so. No fault of anyone in truth as there is no doer of anything except a play of events and situations. This too shall pass, this too shall change as that is the only constant.

The perception of one’s learning/experience, all stems from one’s own tendencies and conditioning. When needs are not met or fulfilled, there is angst. All around are playing a role in creating triggers, that bring out what needs to be balanced.

Therefore…Acceptanceof what is in the moment

It will be seen that the angst only arises when the mind reflects on what has gone past or what will be in the future. In the present moment, there is no angst. All is as is.

Thereafter, shifting & keeping one’s focus on the present moment and engaging in activities & with people that bring comfort or joy, helps to alleviate any remnants of angst.

At the end of the day, as the ancients say, with expectations arises suffering. The lower the expectation, the less the suffering.
