The year 2018 adds up to an 11/2 year, the key words being, kindness (2), friendliness (2), co-operation (2), compassion (18=9) and being guided by one’s intuition (11).
Mother’s message exemplifies this clearly.

Our relation to every being we come across may perhaps be tested now. How many do we end up hurting and how many do we help to bring a smile?

As we leave 2017 behind, the new 9 year universal cycle that began and completes in 2025, now enters the 2nd phase. This is a phase of co-operation and teamwork, associations and mediations, support and adherence to the voice of the heart.

The seeds that were planted in 2017 now need to grow with the right amount of care. Creating the right conditions to facilitate the highest growth is the need of the hour.

By extending the hand of friendship, there is great benefit to one and all.
As Pythagoras, the Greek philosopher is known to have said, “We ought so to behave to one another as to avoid making enemies of our friends, and at the same time to make friends of our enemies.”

On a practical level, the present universal cycle heralds in a new wave of technology, embedded in all structural forms. The seeds having been planted in 2017, the eventual peak would be seen in 2020. This is when the foundation is set, till it gradually becomes completely integrated into everyday living by 2025, the end of the 9 year cycle.

2018 would be a time of experimentation and merging of ideas, as these technological innovations begin to take shape.
Whether these be in revolutionized robots or driverless cars or innovative technology within every structural framework….homes, supermarkets, restaurants etc…it will gradually become a way of life in this new cycle.

Artificial intelligence is here to stay. For some, it may seem exciting and, for some, it may give rise to cringing. What would perhaps be of prime importance is to know that no thing can replace the love, compassion and intellect inherent in the human being.

In addition, the year 2018 begins with a Full Moon. The energies at this time may be likened to the emotions of a mother / father relationship. This would perhaps translate as nurturing versus authority.
Here, the mother energy is at odds in its relation to the father energy. She is filled with compassion, integrity and justice. Yet her sensitivity of the moment makes her question her ability to allow her feelings to flow naturally. Therefore she is in the midst of trying to create a balance.

Let us try and live by Mother’s words.

Being kind can never hurt and can only brighten the moment, like a twinkling star in the dark night sky.
